Two Locations to Serve You
“Two Locations to Serve You” is more than a line in our brochure. Our Edmonton office sits just off Whyte Ave in Old Strathcona, and our Sherwood Park office is on Wye Road, so clients across Edmonton and Strathcona County can choose whichever is more convenient.
Both offices share one phone number, (780) 439-0050. Press Ext 1 for Whyte Ave or Ext 3 for Sherwood Park. Each office has its own email address and fax line, and both offer FREE parking.
Whether you need a personal tax return, a self-employed or corporate return, bookkeeping, payroll, GST or help with a CRA letter, you can book online, call or email the office you prefer.

Booking takes a few minutes and goes straight to the office you choose.

Select Edmonton – Whyte Ave or Sherwood Park from the location dropdown. The calendar for that office appears right away.

Both offices keep the same hours: regular hours all year, with longer hours and Saturdays during tax season (February 24 – April 30).

Booking a personal tax return? Add your checklist
If your appointment is for a personal tax return, you can fill out our Personal Tax Return Checklist, found under Contact. Tick the income slips and deductions that apply to you, then choose your location and time as usual. Your ticked checklist is attached to your booking and sent to the office you selected.
It helps us prepare, and it helps you remember the receipts that are easy to forget, such as childcare, medical or moving expenses. For any other service, simply book a regular appointment.
Please don't type your SIN or banking details into any online form. Bring them with you to your appointment instead.

Bring what applies to your situation; if you're unsure about something, bring it and we'll sort it out together.
Personal tax return
- SIN and date of birth for you, your spouse and dependants
- All income slips (T4, T4A, T5, T4E and others)
- RRSP, donation, childcare and medical receipts
- Tuition slips and student loan interest statements
- Your most recent notice of assessment, if you have it
Self-employed, taxi or ride-share
- Income records or platform statements
- Business expense receipts
- Kilometre logbook for your vehicle
- GST registration details, if registered
Business or CRA matters
- Bank and credit card statements
- Previous year-end statements and returns
- Payroll and GST records
- Any CRA letters or notices you've received
Prefer to call, or need to change a booking?
If you'd rather speak to someone, call (780) 439-0050 and press Ext 1 for Whyte Ave or Ext 3 for Sherwood Park. Calling is also a good option if you're not sure which service you need or what to bring.
Need to reschedule or cancel? Please call the office where you booked, using the same number and extension. That way your time slot can be offered to another client, and we can find a new time that works for you.

What happens after you book
Your request arrives in the inbox of the office you chose, and you receive a confirmation email. If we need anything before your appointment, we'll contact you using the details you provided.
At the appointment, we go through your documents with you, ask about anything that might affect your return and look for deductions and credits you may be entitled to. Our service is one-on-one and practical: the more we know about your situation, the better we can help.
For services without a set price, such as payroll, GST returns, business set-up, consultation or CRA compliance, pricing depends on the work involved and we'll tell you before we start. Please note that once we have started working on your file, the charges will apply even if you don't want us to complete your tax return and want the file back.
Questions & answers
Which office should I choose?
Choose whichever is more convenient. Both offices offer all of our services and FREE parking. The Whyte Ave office is at 8118 - 100 St. NW, just off Whyte Ave in Old Strathcona, and the Sherwood Park office is at #27 - 99 Wye Road. If you've visited us before, booking with the same office keeps things simple, but the choice is entirely yours.
Will I get a confirmation after booking online?
Yes. Your request goes to the email of the office you selected, Reception@TrehanTax.com for Whyte Ave or Sherwood@TrehanTax.com for Sherwood Park, and you receive a confirmation email. If it doesn't appear in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder, then give the office a call at (780) 439-0050.
How do I change or cancel my appointment?
Call the office where you booked: (780) 439-0050, Ext 1 for Whyte Ave or Ext 3 for Sherwood Park. We'll help you find a new time. Letting us know early means your slot can go to another client, which helps a great deal during the busy weeks before the April 30 filing deadline.
What are your hours?
Our regular hours at both offices are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, closed on weekends. During tax season (February 24 to April 30) we stay open later: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, closed Sunday. We encourage clients to contact us throughout the year with any questions.
Is there parking at the offices?
Yes. Both the Whyte Ave and Sherwood Park offices offer FREE parking, so you don't have to hunt for a spot or pay to park while we work through your documents. It's one less thing to think about on appointment day, especially if you're bringing a box of receipts or family members along.
Should I book ahead for a personal tax return?
Booking ahead is the best way to make sure someone is ready to sit down with you, especially in the weeks before the deadline. You can book online by choosing your location and a time on that office's calendar, or call (780) 439-0050 and use the extension for your office.
